About us

Silicon Valley JACL was established in June, 2009 with the vision of creating an organization that bridges generations:

  • Create intergenerational opportunities to build bonds and understanding

  • Explore the Japanese culture and heritage in fun and inviting ways

  • Focus on professional leadership development

  • Foster a diverse membership network

  • Our board of directors consists of individuals focused on the goals of creating an organization and community that follows the chapter's vision.

President Linda Fujimoto says, “Our strength as an organization comes from our diverse group of individuals that bridges the generations.”

Our membership is based in Silicon Valley, California, but is not limited to this region.

Silicon Valley JACL is a chapter of the Japanese American Citizens League.
